type='text'>A Clean Bill of Health for Grace</title><summary type='text'>The week of Thanksgiving, we took Grace to a pediatric surgery center to  have an umbilical hernia repaired.  She has had it since she was born,  and early on our pediatrician pointed it out to us.  She told us that it  may heal on its own, but cautioned us then that we may need to consider  surgery if it didn't correct itself by age 4.

Its a place where we keep track of upcoming trips, events and such.  Brenda updated the calendar yesterday and we realized just how close we are to welcoming Hailey into our lives. First we had to get Grace into her big girl bed, so we could use the crib mattress for Hailey. Mommy also has a thing for clean fingers, clean hair and hopefully clean ears. There is certainly nothing wrong with this approach. I applaud her enthusiasm for Grace's manners. Really, it wasn't all that bad.  Grace was really good.  We spent a lot of time taking Grace out of the stroller and putting her back in.  She did seem to enjoy checking out all the different travel trailers we were looking at. This was the first RV show we have been to with Grace... well, sort of.
